Original 3 x 30cm high x 41cm wide mixed media canvases displayed as 1 artwork (97cm high x 41cm wide) with connecting lace, dyed fish scales and leather. Wooden supporting structure on the back but no external frame.
In this triptych, created from my imagination, I have used colours and materials to represent the wild beauty but fragility of the pristine Ningaloo coastline, with the suggestion of life frolicking in the water. The lacework has been repurposed from my late mother’s kitchen curtains!
